Reimagining Cart & Checkout

I led design on a large-scale, multi-week initiative to reimagine the Cart and Checkout experience, working in close collaboration with research, content, product, engineering, and UX partners. Together, the team tackled three core objectives: simplifying the end-to-end flow, instilling confidence by clearly communicating the value and savings of a customer's order, and building a smarter cart through intentional, research-backed recommendations.

Throughout, I presented work continuously, collaborated closely across disciplines, and advocated firmly for design decisions grounded in user research, customer feedback, and deep historical knowledge of the space.

The work was largely conceptual, shaping the future direction of the purchase experience, with select elements making their way into production. The initiative reflects a commitment to user-centric design — simplifying complexity, earning customer trust at a critical moment, and ensuring the cart works harder for the people using it.
